Laminate flooring on trend: natural looking surfaces

Coesfeld, May 2011 – Three dimensionality plays a major role with the new laminate flooring decors.

Rough-sawn or brushed surfaces can also be experienced by the sense of touch thanks to embossed textures.

The impression of the laminate surface is supposed to look as natural as possible. This is achieved using innovative technology: when the laminate flooring is pressed, textures are applied that you can feel and at the same time ensure a minimum play of light and shadow. The result is perfect imitations of nature, which present the wood as if it came almost untreated from a sawmill.

Easily installed: laminate flooring in crosscut look

Other laminate flooring ideas, which Parador presented in January this year, look equally natural too. The Coesfeld-based manufacturer has thus added crosscut looks in light and dark colours to its range. Due to the particularly high quality finishing of the edges, it is almost impossible to see the transition between individual laminate planks in the wide plank format with the naked eye. The result is a consistent pattern of a crosscut engineered wood floor, yet which, as a laminate floor, can quite easily be installed, even by non-professionals.
